Boil the amlas in water for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the water and allow them to cool. Cut the amlas into wedges and discard the seeds.
Make a fine puree of amlas in the grinder to utmost utilise properties of this miraculous fruit.
Now boil again with sugar on low heat and keep stirring with a wooden ladle.
Keep it boiling and stirring for 1/2 hour on low heat.
You will observe a change in colour from light green to golden yellow.
Now add powdered cloves to enhance the flavour and to add the medicinal value of this recipe.
Put off the heat and pour the mixture over an already greased tin .
Let it cool on wire rack for 1 hour and then cut it into pieces .
Store the jellos in air tight container n use daily to increase family immune against common cold n coughs.

Nice recipe, when we r boiling amlas again wid sugar, is there need to add some amt of water ?
Won't these jellos stick to each other while we store in jar
