Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Atta/Wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Oats - 1 cup
  3. powdered sugar - 3/4 cup
  4. Chopped Almonds - 1/4 cup
  5. Butter/Margarine - 1/2 cup
  6. Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  7. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  8. Milk - 2 tbsp
  9. A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Sieve the wheat flour, baking powder & salt together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix oats and chopped almond. (if you want you can grind the oats to a coarse powder or fine powder as per your choice)
  3. In another bowl beat the butter with powdered sugar and vanilla essence.
  4. Add in the sieved powder mix (wheat flour + Oats) in the beaten butter mixture with your finger tips and the mixture will begin to resemble bread crumbs.
  5. Add milk to make the dough. Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  6. Roll the dough and cut with a biscuit cutter. Spread on a baking tray with parchment paper.
  7. Now bake the cut biscuits for 18 minutes.
