ABOUT Fresh Orange Pulp Pudding (Komola Kheer) RECIPE

Kheer or Payasam is a traditional dessert made by boiling rice, sugar and milk together. I have given it a twist with fresh orange pulp.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Full cream milk 1 litre
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. A pinch of salt
  4. Fresh orange pulp 1 bowl
  5. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Evaporated milk solid 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk. Then add in the sugar and evaporated milk solid to it.
  2. When it becomes thick and creamy, add in the cardamom powder. Then turn off the gas and add in the fresh orange pulp.
  3. Chill for 30 minutes in the fridge and serve it.
