ABOUT Frozen Persimmon RECIPE

This Korean dessert is literally a persimmon that is frozen. It's amazingly delicious much like a sorbet but with zero work. Getting your hands on ripe persimmons is actually the hardest part, but they make a wonderful rare dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Very ripe Hachiya Persimmon fruits as many as you like

Instructions

  1. Wash the persimmons carefully and then place them on a tray or a box.
  2. Freeze for about 2 hours or until they are just firm but not rock hard.
  3. You will love it's creamy and naturally sweet texture.
  4. Serve them using a spoon to scoop out the stem and dive into the contents.

saw some persimmons in the market...will definitely try out this super easy dessert!
