Oldest traditional authentic dish of pattu family since ages this has been carried forward. Healthy and very nutritious seasonal sweet dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled rice - 1 cup,
  2. Palm jaggery or Normal jaggery -1 cup,
  3. Cardamom powder -a pinch,
  4. Fennel seeds -1/4 tsp
  5. Coconut pieces finely chopped -4
  6. Ghee -2tsp
  7. water for mixing

Instructions

  1. Let's start doing this easy two minute sweet
  2. Add 1/2 cup of water to the scrapped jaggery in a bowl and mix till it is dissolved add fennel,cardamom powder, coconut pieces to it.add the ghee also at this time itself.
  3. Dry roast the boiled rice till it is slightly changed its colour the. Powder it finely.
  4. Now mix this boiled rice powder in the jaggery water and see that there are no lumps in it.
  5. The cooking process of two minutes starts now. Put this thick bottomed bowl with mix of boiled rice and jaggery on low flame and cook it for 2minutes. After 2 minutes you will see the ghee oozing out.now turn off the flame and serve it.
