Sweet potatoes and buckwheat flour are allowed in navratris.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sweet potatoes boiled and mashed 2 cup
  2. Roasted buckwheat flour half cup
  3. Finely chopped coriander leaves half cup
  4. Chopped green chillies 3-4
  5. Sendha namak / rock salt as per your taste
  6. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  7. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. First take a big bowl and add boiled sweet potatoes, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, rock salt and buckwheat flour. Mix all ingredients well. Make a dough.
  2. Now make round shape cutlets with this mix.
  3. Take a pan, add 2 tsp oil. Put cutlets on this and cook from both sides. Sweet potato and buckwheat flour cutlets are ready. Serve hot. You can make coriander and tomato chutney with these cutlets.
