ABOUT Pepper Sev RECIPE

Pepper Sev is very aromatic, tasty and healthy snack item prepared using besan/ Bengal gram flour and black pepper seeds.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Besan flour/ Bengal gram flour - 1 cup
  2. Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Black pepper seeds - 2 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  5. Salt - 1 pinch
  6. Hing - 1/4 tsp or 1 pinch
  7. Butter - 1 tsp
  8. Oil - to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Take a pan add oil to deep fry and let it heat on low flames and crush black pepper and keep it ready.
  2. Take a large bowl add besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper, hing, salt.
  3. Mix everything well and prepare smooth and thick dough by adding little amount of water.
  4. Now add melted butter and mix everything once.
  5. Divide the dough into portions and take it into presser, insert medium holes plate inside presuure.
  6. Once oil gets heat press Sev in circular motion slowly.
  7. Fry Sev all side on low to medium flames till it changes color. Then take it into bowl.
  8. That's it crispy and tasty pepper Sev is ready to serve.
