ABOUT Strawberry Sorbet RECIPE

This sorbet is delicious on its own or served with lemon tart. Make it when strawberries are in season for the best flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 600 gm fresh Strawberry
  2. Juice from 2 lemon
  3. 100 ml liquid glucose or syrup
  4. For the sugar syrup:
  5. 150 gm sugar
  6. 100 ml water

Instructions

  1. First make the sugar syrup. Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the lemon and glucose.
  3. Blend the strawberries and add the sugar syrup according to taste. Set aside to cool.
  4. When cool transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine.
  5. Churn until a soft sorbet has formed (about 30 to 40 minutes).
  6. Before serving sorbets. Transfer them to the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes.
