It's a healthy and delicious starter, also very easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup broccoli
  2. 1 cup boiled potatoes
  3. 1/4 cup chopped green capsicum
  4. 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  5. 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
  6. 2tsp minced garlic
  7. 1 tbsp grated ginger
  8. 2tbsp roasted gram flour
  9. Salt
  10. 1tsp paprika powder
  11. 1 tsp amchur powder
  12. 1tsp cumin powder
  13. Dash of lime
  14. Oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Blanch the broccoli and let it cool
  2. Once done finely chop it or pulse twice in a chopper
  3. Take a mixing bowl and add mash the potatoes in it.
  4. Now add all the other vegetables and mix
  5. Now put roasted gram flour and mix again thoroughly
  6. You may now add all the dry spices and salt
  7. Gently knead and mix everything well
  8. Now take a wistful of the mixture and give it a shape of the satay
  9. Insert the satay stick carefully
  10. Brush some oil on the grill pan
  11. Now gently put the prepared satay on the pan and grill it on medium to low flame
  12. Once it turns golden turn the direction and let it turn crisp on the other side
  13. Keep rolling until it is thoroughly grilled and crisp on the outside.
  14. Repeat the procedure with rest of the prepared satays
  15. Serve hot
