ABOUT Ginger Cookies RECIPE

If you want to try something new in tea time then you can try this recipe. Its tastes really awesome. You also can srve as a snacks item for the children.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 75 gram wheat flour/ Atta
  2. 75 gram all purpose flour/ maida
  3. 75 gram powdered sugar
  4. 60 gram butter
  5. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1 teaspoon honey
  9. 1/4 tsp Salt
  10. 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  11. 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  12. 1/4 teaspoon clove powder
  13. 50 gram granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add butter at room temperature and powdered sugar and mix with a hand beater.
  2. Add egg and mix well.
  3. Add wheat flour/atta and sieve.
  4. Add all purpose flour/maida, baking powder, baking soda and sieve.
  5. Add Ginger powder, cinnamon powder, Clove powder, salt and sieve together.
  6. Add honey.
  7. Mix all together with your clean hand.
  8. Make smooth a dough.
  9. Cover it with aluminium foil and keep refrigerate for half an hour.
  10. After half an hour keep out from refrigerator and take a little portion and shape it into a ball.
  11. Roll it in granulated sugar and place on a greased baking dish.
  12. Lightly press the balls by outer side of the glass bottom.
  13. Bake at 170℃ for 15 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
  14. After 15 minutes take out the baking dish from the oven and place the cookies on a cooling rack.
  15. In the same way bake the remaining batches of cookies.
  16. Enjoy with tea coffee or as a evening snacks.
