ABOUT Semolina kheer with date palm jaggery RECIPE

It's a lip-smacking Indian desert ..In the winter season this new datepalm jaggery (which is made from the juice of date palm tree) makes this dish more amazing with it's beautiful taste ,smell & colour. ..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina 25gm
  2. Milk 1lit
  3. Date palm jaggery 100gm
  4. Cashewnuts 10/12
  5. Ghee 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a non stick pan ,add cashewnuts ,saute till nuts are little brown.keep aside ..in the same pan add semolina &saute till little golden..
  2. Then in medium flame allow the milk to boil in a thick bottom pan , ,After 10/15 mins when the milk becomes little thick add fried semolina ..let it boil in low flame..
  3. Cook until a thick & creamy consistency is obtained..
  4. Switch off the flame..after 5mins add crushed jaggery & stir well until incorporated.
  5. Garnish with cashewnuts..
