ABOUT Grilled lobster RECIPE

Lobsters belong to same family as prawns. They taste amazing in curry as well as dry grilled way. You can savour on lobsters at any sea side place. However, do try it at home the way I have made and enjoy at home.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Lobsters 3
  2. Garlic 2 teaspoon
  3. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  4. Mixed Herbs one teaspoon
  5. Juice of one lemon
  6. Garam Masala one teaspoon
  7. Butter 2 teaspoon
  8. Oil 2 teaspoon
  9. Coriander leaves
  10. Green chilli 2
  11. Sugar one pinch
  12. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take lobsters in a pan with water. I have taken whole lobsters.
  2. Boil the lobsters till they change the colour to red
  3. Remove them from heat and add cold water to stop further cooking.
  4. Meanwhile mix all masala ingredients with butter and oil
  5. To the masala mixture add coriander leaves and green chillies finely chopped
  6. Cut the lobster vertically and make a slit on dorsum to expose the meat. Take care as the shell is hard. You need to use sharp scissor or knife
  7. Devein the lobsters from tail end and remove the sand bag from head end below the eyes
  8. Fill in the masala mixture in the lobsters and brush some on outer surface
  9. Heat grill pan and place the lobster on it
  10. Cook from both sides for around 7-8 minutes. Take care not to burn masala
  11. Serve hot.
