It is an Indo Arabian dessert ,actually it is made with kadaif in Arabian countries, which is not available in our country ,so I tried making it with sewai and the cream with curdled milk.it tastes awesome,it is a fusion dessert of Arab and India
first crush the sewai into small pieces
add butter and turmeric powder to it , mix it well and keep aside
now take a pan and mix powdered milk and water
now turn on the gas , flame the pan and stir
now add condensed milk to it
stir the corn flour and mix
In low flame stir it continuously
when it turn little thick, mix the curdled milk
after getting the creamy texture, turn off the gas and cool it and keep aside
grease the cake tin with butter
now take some amount of sewai and put it into the tin
Pour the cold cream and spread evenly on the top
sprinkles the chopped dry fruits on the top of the cream
now add the rest of the sewai on the top
press it gently
now in a heavy bottom Pan spread some salt and keep a rack and heat on medium flame for 10 minutes
Place the cake tin on the rack
cover the tin with a plate
bake it for 40 to 45 minutes
meanwhile make sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar for 7 to 8 minutes
When it is fully baked, pour the sugar syrup on hot kanafeh and rest it for 1 hour(pour generously)
Demold it
Sprinkle some crushed pistachios and it is ready to serve
