It is a fabulous sweet dish made with bottle gourd peels /lau ki chilke ki vermicelli great twist with Hershey's strawberry flavoured syrup.bottle gourd peels is rich with essential minerals,will help alleviate constipation,gastric issues.it is good for liver& jaundice patients.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lauki peels 1.5 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Hershey's strawberry syrup 1/3 cup
  4. Varieties of nuts 3 tbs
  5. Raisins 2 tbs
  6. Mawa 3 tbs
  7. Heavy cream 1/4 cup
  8. Ghee 2 tbs
  9. Cinamon stick 2
  10. Cardamom 2/3pcs
  11. Lamon juice 1 tbs

Instructions

  1. Peel off bottle gourd's skin. Cut in to very finely.wash thoroughly.
  2. In a pan place 1.5 cup of lauki peels with 2 cups of boiling water.make sure peels are 60% boiled.dont over Boil it.
  3. Strain instantly and spread boiled peels beneath the fan for cooling down.to keep its green colour.
  4. In a pan melt ghee.add cinamon stick,bay leaf, cardamom.
  5. Once aromatic spices starts pattering & fragrant add boiled lauki peels
  6. Stir fry them for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Add nuts, pistachio s, raisins & mix well.
  8. Add lamon juice,3 tbs mawa,1/4 cup of fresh cream,1/2 cup of sugar.
  9. Stir constantly once it gets sticky ,add 1/3 cup of Hershey strawberry syrup.mix well.
  10. After 4/5 minutes lauki peels would be less sticky then turn off heat.
  11. Serve lauki peels vermicelli after cooling down garnishing with Ur choice.
