ABOUT Peri Peri Idli RECIPE

Spicy and tangy twist to idli.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Rice flour
  2. 1 cup Rawa
  3. 1/2 cup yogurt
  4. 2-3 Red dried chilli
  5. 1 tsp peprika powder
  6. 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  7. 3 tsp Lemon juice
  8. 5-6 garlic cloves
  9. 3 tsp oil
  10. 2 tsp fruit salt
  11. 1 tsp Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak dried red chilli in hot water for 10 min.
  2. Then Puree soaked red chilli and garlic togethor..
  3. Heat oil in pan then add red chilli puree and saute for 2-3 min.
  4. Preheat steamer by boiling water.
  5. Take a bowl add rice flour,rawa and yogurt mix well to avoid lump and then add little water and make a thick batter then add salt,cayenne pepper,peprika ,red chilli puree ,lemon juice and mix well then add fruit salt and stir it quickly and immediately transfer to idli moulds and steam this for 20 min at medium heat.
  6. Serve this with any dip of your choice.
