The traditional puffed rice ladoos make a good sweet snack.

Ingredients Serving: 12

  1. puffed rice 3 cups
  2. jaggery grated 1 cup
  3. Ghee 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the puffed rice (murmura) for five minutes. Keep aside.
  2. Take a pan and add the jaggery. Let it boil on a low flame. Add ghee and keep stirring.
  3. Once, it has melted, let it boil for a couple of minutes. Add the roasted murmura to it, mix well and remove from heat.
  4. Make balls of it and keep aside for sometime.
  5. Tasty murmura ladoos are ready.
