Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For boiling pasta :
  2. Fusili Pasta 1 cup
  3. Water to boil
  4. Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  6. For Mayonnaise Pasta :
  7. Boiled and drained fusili pasta
  8. Mayonnaise 3/4 cup
  9. Green capsicum or any capsicum 1 medium finely diced
  10. Salt as preferred
  11. Garlic minced 1.5 tablespoons
  12. Dried thyme 3 teaspoons
  13. White pepper powder as preferred
  14. Full fat milk 1/4 to 1/2 cup
  15. Butter 3 tablespoons
  16. For the paratha dough :
  17. Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  18. Salt 1 teaspoon
  19. Water for kneading as required
  20. Melted butter unsalted 3 tablespoons
  21. Butter unsalted melted 4 tablespoons for brushing

Instructions

  1. Firstly , boil water in a wide container .
  2. Add salt and oil to the boiling water .
  3. Add 1 cup fusilli Pasta to the boiling water . Maintain a low to medium flame for even cooking .
  4. Cook till the pasta is cooked al dente.
  5. While pasta gets cooked , meantime , let’s prepare our paratha dough .
  6. In a wide bowl , take 2 cups whole wheat flour .
  7. Add salt to the flour .
  8. Add 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter to the flour .
  9. Add required water gradually to knead the dough into a smooth paratha dough .
  10. Grease the dough with a tablespoon unsalted butter . Cover and rest the dough for 20 minutes .
  11. Coming to our pasta , pasta is cooked al dente .
  12. Drain the pasta immediately . Keep the drained pasta aside .
  13. Heat a pan . Melt 3 tablespoons butter in low heat so butter color doesn’t change to brown .
  14. Add the minced garlic . Sauté until crunchy and aromatic .
  15. Add the capsicum small dices and sauté until glossy and crunchy without turning its color .
  16. Add the mayonnaise . Mix all .
  17. Season it with salt , white pepper and dried thyme powder . Mix .
  18. Add the boiled fusilli pasta . Toss the pasta in the mayonnaise until pasta coated well and looks creamy .
  19. At one point , if pasta looks dry , add the milk gradually to get a thick creamier consistency but not pouring consistency .
  20. The consistency should be preferable to stuff .
  21. Remove the Mayo pasta from the heat and cool .
  22. To make Parathas , firstly divide the rested dough into equal medium sized balls .
  23. Roll each ball into a thick medium disc .
  24. Place generous amount of Mayo Pasta filling on the disc and seal into a smooth round ball . Be gentle while doing this step without any leakages .
  25. Roll the stuffed balls into medium sized Parathas .
  26. Heat a tawa to smoking point . Reduce the flame to low .
  27. Place one Pasta stuffed paratha on the hot tawa .
  28. Cook each side for a minute . Flip sides and cook . Brush the parathas with butter both the sides , cook until golden brown spots appear both sides .
  29. Brush extra butter if preferred .
  30. Mayonnaise Pasta Parathas are ready to serve .
  31. Cut into 4 and pack for kids .
