ABOUT Green Chutney Pasta !! RECIPE

I gave a very easy Indian flavourful twist to this Pasta...Can be served as a salad also.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Elbow pasta - 200 gms
  2. Fresh grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  3. Coriander leaves - 2 to 3 tbspn
  4. Garlic - 3 cloves
  5. Ginger- 1/4 inch piece
  6. Green chilly - 1
  7. Jeera - 1/2 tspn
  8. Curry leaves - few
  9. Mustard - 1/2 tspn
  10. dry red chilly- 1
  11. Oil- 1 tbspn
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Lemon- a few drops

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta as per the instructions given on the pack.Add little oil while boiling the pasta
  2. Drain the pasta and drizzle little oil so that it does not stick...Let it cool
  3. Now in mixer jar put the coconut,green chilly,ginger and garlic and grind it
  4. After grinding the chutney
  5. Now after the pasta cools down completely mix this chutney in it
  6. In a tadka pan put oil and when hot put the mustard,jeera...After it splutters put dry red chilly broken into pieces ,curry leaves...
  7. After a minute pour this over the pasta.... squeeze a few drops of lemon... Mix well
  8. Serve immediately
