Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast
  2. 2 tsp sugar
  3. 1/4 cup warm water
  4. 1 tsp Salt
  5. 2 tbsp olive oil
  6. 3/4 cup Milk
  7. 2.5 cups all purpose flour/maida
  8. 8 kababs for filling
  9. Sesame seeds as needed
  10. 1 Egg beaten

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water, keep aside for 10 minutes, till the mixture becomes frothy
  2. Now add the salt, olive oil and yeast mixture to the flour and knead. Add milk, as needed, to knead a soft dough.
  3. Keep the dough in a warm place covered with a moist cloth for 1 hour or till the dough doubles.
  4. When the dough doubles, punch the dough to release the gases.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Fill with one kabab each and make into balls.
  6. Put some sesame seeds on top of each bun and brush with beaten egg.
  7. Put on a greased tray and let it rise for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or till the top is nicely done and the bottom is slightly brown.
  9. Enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee.
