A famous street food of Mumbai,here i made it from left over rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Left over boiled rice 2cups.
  2. Chopped tomatoes 2nos.
  3. Boiled potato 1 no.
  4. Chopped onion 1no.
  5. Ginger _garlic paste 1table spoon.
  6. Capsicum cubes 1/2cup.
  7. Boiled Green peas 1/2cup.
  8. Cumin seeds1tea spoon.
  9. Buyyer 2table spoon.
  10. Chopped coriander leaves 1/2cup.
  11. Red chilly paste 1table spoon.
  12. Pepper powder 1tea spoon
  13. Lemon juice 2table spoon .
  14. Paw bhaji masala 1table spoon.
  15. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Heat a large tawa.If you don't have it you may cook in a wok or fry pan.
  2. Put butter ,add cumin seeds.when crackle starts add chopped onion .
  3. Fry anion till golden,add ginger garlic paste and cook on low flame for 2minutes.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and salt ,cover and cook for 2minutes.
  5. Add peas,capsicum,potato cubes ,red chilly paste and pepper powder.
  6. Mix well ,cover and cook for 1minute.
  7. Slightly mash the vegetables.
  8. Add pav bhaji masala,cover and further cook for 2minutes so spices should be cooked well.
  9. Add boiled rice.Mix well .Fry on medium heat for 2minutes.
  10. Pour lemon juice over pulao,mix .
  11. Serve hot with raita.
