ABOUT Instant Gulab Jamun RECIPE

When more leftover bread pieces are there and no one at home have the mood to eat bread, I make use of those bread pieces as a sweet. Yes, soft and juicy Gulab Jamun Ruth bread. So let’s start with the recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread 8-10 pieces
  2. milk 3-4 tablespoon
  3. rose essence 2 drops
  4. sugar 1 cup
  5. water 1 cup
  6. oil 2 cups for deep frying
  7. 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cut the sides of bread and scramble them fine with hand.
  2. Now add milk to it and bind it together as a dough. Take small lemon size portion from the dough and make round shapes and keep aside
  3. Now make sugar syrup boiling sugar and water in a sauce pan. Add 2 drops of rose essence and boil till it’s consistency comes to 1 thread. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice in it and keep aside.
  4. Now in Kadai, heat oil in medium flame and fry the bread balls evenly till golden brown in colour.
  5. Turn them softly and fry even till it’s colour changes to golden brown.
  6. Take them out from oil and dip them in warm sugar syrup for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Serve instant, juicy, soft, melts in mouth Gulab Jamun and relish
