Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana daal soaked for 3 hours....1 cup
  2. Ghee...as required
  3. Cumin seed....1 tea spoon
  4. Red chilly powder...1/2 tea spoon
  5. Turmeric powder...1/4 Tea spoon
  6. For pakwaan
  7. All purpose flour...1 cup
  8. Suji....1/4 cup
  9. Salt and ajwain to taste
  10. Oiil to fry
  11. Hot oil for moyan...1 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Daal....put soaked daal along with adequate water, salt and turmeric powder and give pressure cooking for 15 to 20 minutes
  2. For tadka to daal heat ghee add cumin seeds and red chilli powder and give to the bowl of serving
  3. For pakwaan...mix salt, ajwain and hot oil to all purpose flour plus suji and knead to a tight dough and keep aside for some time
  4. Roll to desired size in round shape and Pierce with fork
  5. Fry in hot oil on medium to low flame
  6. Enjoy with daal and achaar
