Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Urad dhuli daal...1 cup
  2. Rice mota.....3 cups
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Oil as required

Instructions

  1. Soak rice and daal separately overnight
  2. Grind them separately and mix afterwards
  3. Keep for fermentation
  4. Boil water in the vessel
  5. Grease idly mould, add salt in the batter
  6. Fill idly moulds and keep in the boiling water
  7. Cover the vessel and steam the idlies for 15 minutes on medium flamr or till done, for this you can prick the idlies with knife, if it is clear then it's done
  8. Serve with chutney of your choice
