Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For chicken balls
  2. 300g Minced Chicken
  3. 1/2 tsp or more red chili powder - adjust
  4. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tbsp yogurt
  7. 1/2 tsp chicken/garam masala
  8. 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  9. 2 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp oil
  10. For Butter Gravy/Sauce
  11. 2.5 tbsp butter
  12. 2 onions chopped
  13. 3 Tomatoes chopped
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 2 tbsp cream
  16. 10-12 cashews
  17. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  18. 2-3 cloves
  19. 1 small inch cinnamon stick
  20. 3 cardamom
  21. 1/2 tsp sugar
  22. 3/4 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  23. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  24. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add minced chicken, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric and garam masala
  2. Knead the mixture well and make small equal sized balls.Heat butter and oil in a pan, Shallow fry the meatballs until done on all sides. Keep it aside
  3. Heat 1.5 tbsp butter in a pan, add whole spices and saute for few seconds. Add onions and saute until tender
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma goes away. Add cashews and saute for a minute
  5. Add tomatoes with little salt and cook until tender and mushy. Add coriander powder and chili powder. Saute for a minute. Allow to cool completely
  6. Adding water, grind to smooth puree
  7. Heat remaining butter in a pan, Add ground puree,salt and saute for 4 minutes. Add garam masala, cream and mix well
  8. The gravy should be like sauce, add water if required.
  9. Add chicken balls, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes
  10. In serving plate, add spaghetti, noodles or steamed rice, top with chicken balls with butter chicken gravy/sauce. Garnish with little grated cheese and coriander leaves.Serve warm
