For chicken balls
300g Minced Chicken
1/2 tsp or more red chili powder - adjust
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 tbsp yogurt
1/2 tsp chicken/garam masala
1/4 tsp Turmeric
2 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp oil
For Butter Gravy/Sauce
2.5 tbsp butter
2 onions chopped
3 Tomatoes chopped
Salt to taste
2 tbsp cream
10-12 cashews
1 tsp Coriander powder
2-3 cloves
1 small inch cinnamon stick
3 cardamom
1/2 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Instructions
In a bowl, add minced chicken, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric and garam masala
Knead the mixture well and make small equal sized balls.Heat butter and oil in a pan, Shallow fry the meatballs until done on all sides. Keep it aside
Heat 1.5 tbsp butter in a pan, add whole spices and saute for few seconds. Add onions and saute until tender
Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma goes away. Add cashews and saute for a minute
Add tomatoes with little salt and cook until tender and mushy. Add coriander powder and chili powder. Saute for a minute. Allow to cool completely
Adding water, grind to smooth puree
Heat remaining butter in a pan, Add ground puree,salt and saute for 4 minutes. Add garam masala, cream and mix well
The gravy should be like sauce, add water if required.
Add chicken balls, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes
In serving plate, add spaghetti, noodles or steamed rice, top with chicken balls with butter chicken gravy/sauce. Garnish with little grated cheese and coriander leaves.Serve warm
