ABOUT Rava uttapam RECIPE

A south Indian recipe easily can be made without soaking any lentis.can be served as breakfast,evening snack even for kids lunch box.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Rava/semolina/suji
  2. 5 table spoon curd
  3. 1 cup water
  4. Two tomatoes
  5. 1 capsicum
  6. 1 tea spoon Black pepper
  7. 2 teaspoon Mix herbs or any Italian seasoning
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 2 table spoon oil

Instructions

  1. Firstly make the batter by adding rava,curd and water in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients and leave for 30 minutes.
  2. Mean while chopped the tomatoes and capsicum in round slices
  3. Once the batter is ready add salt into it and mix well
  4. Now take a dosa tawa or any pan brus some oil on it pour the batter in round shape and let it cook for a minute
  5. Now add the tomato and capsicum slice on top of uttapam and sprinkle some black pepper and some mix herbs on top it and press gentle so that all veggies and seasoning get stick to it
  6. Now flip it on other side press gently and put some oil on sides of uttapam
  7. Once it uttapam is cooked serve with tomato sauce
