Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 Cups chana dal
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 1 cup chopped onion
  4. 1 cup coriander leaves , chopped
  5. 1 tbsp green chili ginger paste
  6. 1 tbsp garlic paste
  7. 1 tbsp red chili powder
  8. 1/8 tsp baking soda
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak chana dal for 2 hours. Drain excess water
  2. Grind dal to smooth paste
  3. Mix all ingredients except oil in a bowl
  4. Drop spoonfuls of mixture in hot oil. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp
  5. Serve hot with chutney or sauce
