ABOUT Coconut Surprise!! RECIPE

Coconut surprise contains different types of ladoos with base of coconut but with different flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Dessicated Coconut : 250 grams
  2. Sugar : 250 grams
  3. Mava : 250 grams
  4. Water 1/4 glass
  5. Ghee : 1/2 cup
  6. Edible colours : 3-4 as per wish
  7. Rose pettal jam(gulkand) : 1/2 cup
  8. Chopped mixed dryfruits : 1/2 cup
  9. Rose syrup : 2-3 tablespoon
  10. Fine chopped pistachios and cashews : for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Get all your ingredients ready first.
  2. In a large cooking pan add water.
  3. Then add mava and stir it till it becomes a liquid.
  4. Then add sugar and mix all 3 ingredients nicely.
  5. Make a 2 string sugar syrup of this mixture( 2 tar ki chashni).
  6. Than add desicated coconut and mix well till all ingredients get mixed well.
  7. Add ghee after cooking dessicated coconut for 2-3 minutes
  8. Switch off the flame and let mixture cool for 10 minutes
  9. In 3-4 separate dishes make partition of mixture and add colours accordingly.(Green,Raspberry,Orange,Yellow).
  10. In different bowls pour gulkand,dryfruits and chopped dryfruits.
  11. Take green coloured mixture in hand flatten the mixture a bit fill some gukand in it and make ladoos of it.
  12. In pink color mixture add some rose syrup(optional) and make ladoos.
  13. In orange/yellow colour stuff some dryfruits and make ladoos.
  14. And of white mixture make simple ladoos.
  15. Garnish all the ladoos with pistachios and cashews finely chopped.
