My innovative sweet recipe that brings in mango, coconut and pistachios together.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Powered pista 3/4 th cup
  2. Powered almond 1/4 th cup
  3. Finely chopped pista 2 tablespoon
  4. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  5. Mango puree 1 cup
  6. Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  7. Sugar 1/2 cup
  8. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Milk powder 1-2 tablespoons
  11. A drop of green food colouring
  12. Ghee for greasing
  13. Milk 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. First prepare a dough out of pista powder, almond powered, powdered sugar , chopped pista pieces and 1- 2 tablespoons of milk. Add a drop of green food color.
  2. The dough should be soft and not sticky. Grease two plastic sheets with ghee and place the dough in between the sheets.
  3. Slowly roll out into a sheet.
  4. And cut it length wise into two.
  5. Now prepare the mango filling. First dry roast the coconut till they are yellowish in colour and a beautiful aroma is giving out.
  6. Add the milk and stir for two minutes.
  7. Now add the mango puree, and keep stirring in a low flame.
  8. Add the sugar , cardamom powder, cinnamon powder and keep stirring.
  9. After sometime the mixture will thicken and leave the sides. Now the filling is done.
  10. Cool the mixture and then with greased hands make a cylinder out of it and place it at one end of the pista sheets.
  11. Roll the pista sheets tightly along with the greased plastic. Cut into 2inch pieces. Refrigerate and serve.
