ABOUT Dahi Gosht RECIPE

A spicy curry made with curd and brown onion. Goes well with steam rice, ghee rice or even with Indian flat bread

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gram of mutton
  2. 1 big onion
  3. 1Cup curd
  4. 2tablespoon oil
  5. 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  6. 1/4 tablespoon cummin powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  8. 1 table spoon red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  10. 1tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash meat propely
  2. In a vessel add oil heat it
  3. Now add finely chopped onion, let it cook till light golden brown
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste
  5. Followed by salt and meat
  6. Roast it on high flame
  7. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, cummin powder and stir on high flame
  8. Add well beaten curd to it
  9. Cook for a minute till oil separtes from the gravy.
  10. Add little water and simmer the gas and let it Cook
  11. Cook till meat cooks properly
  12. Add garam masala and coriander leaves
  13. Cook on high flame for a minute
  14. Switch off the gas.
  15. Serve hot with rice and roti
