Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. semolina - one small bowl
  2. curd - one small bowl
  3. milk - 1/2 cup
  4. green - eno one sachet
  5. oil - 2 table spoon
  6. sarson seeds - 1/2 table spoon
  7. curry leaves - 8-10 leaves
  8. onions - 2 long sliced
  9. tomatoes - 2 finely chopped
  10. capsicum - 2 small
  11. carrot - 2 small
  12. salt - 1 table spoon

Instructions

  1. First take one bowl in which add semolina,curd and milk.
  2. Keep it aside for 15 minutes .
  3. After 15 minutes add 1/2 table spoon of salt and one sachet pf green eno to the mixture .
  4. Then pour the mixture in the pockets of idli stand .
  5. Keep the cooker on the gas and turn on the gas .
  6. Pour one glass of water in the cooker .
  7. Now place the idli stand inside the cooker .
  8. Close the cooker and remove it’s whistle .
  9. Now let the cooker keep burning on medium flame for 10 minutes .
  10. Now open the cooker and cool down the idli by placing it aside on room temperature for 5-7 minutes .
  11. Remove the idli from the stand and cut it into four pieces .
  12. Now put the kadai on the flame and pour 2 table spoon pf oil
  13. Add sarson seeds and curry leaves in the kadai .
  14. Then add finely chopped tomatoes .
  15. Now add 1 /4 table spoon of deggi mirch , 1/2 table spoon of salt and some red chillies ( according to the taste ) .
  16. Add chopped onions and carrots and stir them well .
  17. Add capsicums and cabbage .
  18. Saute all the veggies for 10 minutes .
  19. Then add the pieces of idly in the kadai and stir them well .
  20. The dish is ready to be served .
