ABOUT Stir Okra Fry RECIPE

Okra (bhindi) fry with garlic and coriander.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Okra (bhindi) 250 gms
  2. 2 to 3 cloves of garlic minced
  3. Green chilli 3 to 4 pcs minced
  4. Coriander powder 2 teaspoons
  5. Salt to taste
  6. sugar 1 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  8. Mustard oil 2 tablespoon
  9. Ginger chopped 1 tableapoon
  10. 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. When the oil is hot, add minced garlic, minced green chillies and ginger.
  3. Keep stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the slited okras, salt, sugar and turmeric.
  5. Mix well and add coriander powder.
  6. Mix well and cover and simmer for around 10 minutes, keep stirring in between.
  7. Turn off the flame and add one teaspoon of lemon juice.
  8. Mix well and serve hot with soft rotis.
