ABOUT Rava Kesari... RECIPE

A superb sweet recipe made with semolina.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ghee
  2. Rava 1 cup
  3. Sugar 1 cup (powder form)
  4. Cardamom powder 1/2 tablespoon
  5. Water 2 cup(rava:water=1:2)
  6. Orange colour powder- a pinch
  7. Cashew nuts 12-15
  8. Dry grapes 12-15
  9. Cucumber seeds(optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a small pan,add ghee,cashew nuts,dry grapes...until the cashew becomes golden...keep it aside...
  2. On the same pan,add little more ghee,add rava.....roast it well....keep this aside...
  3. On the another pan,add water...let it boil for some time....after water boils add a pinch of orange colour powder....now add roasted rava...until it becomes soft & smooth consistency....
  4. Then add sugar powder & cardamom powder....mix it well
  5. Now add roasted cashew nuts & dry grapes and also cucumber seeds....mix it nicely..leave it to cook for 2-4 mins...
  6. Here ,tasty 'RAVA KESARI' is ready to serve...
