Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Potatoes - 1 kg
  2. Bread loaf - 1
  3. Amul butter as required for toasting
  4. Tomatoe sauce - 1 tbsp
  5. Vegetables: -
  6. 1carrot finely chopped
  7. 1 capsicum finely chopped
  8. Onion - 1 large chopped finely
  9. Spices :
  10. Sabji masala / pav bhaji masala - 1 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook washed and largely cut potatoes for 2 to 3 whistles
  2. Take a kadhai, add oil. Add the onions and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add the carrot and capsicum, the salt and masala powder and tomatoe sauce. Stir fry till nicely cooked in the spices.
  4. Peel and mash potatoes in this cooked masala. Adjust salt and seasoning.
  5. Take a toaster, heat it a bit. Add butter inside
  6. Take a bread slice, put in 2 tbsps of potatoe veg masala and spread.
  7. Cover and press with another slice. Put it in the toaster. Cover and lock. Keep on direct gas on medium flame toasting on both sides Alternatively.
  8. Don't forget to apply butter on the other side once turned. Open and apply butter. Close and further toast. Takes hardly 2 to 3 minutes. Enjoy hot toast Sandwich.
