ABOUT Homemade Mango Jam-Jam without Preservatives RECIPE

It is made up with fruit puree,sugar and a dash of lemon juice.Lemon acts like a preservative.You can keep in fridge and can use for a good couple of days.Everybody especially kids loves Mango jam spread on a freshly baked bread /sandwich for breakfast or evening snack.you can spread it on chapathi roll it and serve for kids they will enjoy it.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Mango 1 (around 1 cup of mango pulp)
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup (depends on sweetness of mango)
  3. Lemon juice -1 tsp
  4. Water 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Take 1 full mango
  2. Peel it and Chop mango, take it into blender
  3. Add water
  4. Puree smooth
  5. Pour it into pan and cook for 3 minutes on high flame
  6. When it becomes like this add sugar and lemon juice . Make the flame to low
  7. Cook for 20 mins .Keep stirring in the middle.
  8. After 20 mins it gets thick
  9. Turn off flame .Mango Jam is ready
