ABOUT Mushroom fritters RECIPE

This is perfect snacks for iftari, delicious fritters made with mushrooms.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 gram mushroom
  2. 1 cup bengal gramflour
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. 1/4 spoon turmeric
  5. 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 spoon coriander powder
  7. 1 pinch baking soda
  8. 1 pinch asafoetida
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushroom and cut into two parts.
  2. In a big bowl take gramflour, baking soda, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and asafoetida.
  3. Now add little water slowly and make batter without any lumps.
  4. Dip mushroom into batter.
  5. Heat oil in a wok and fry on medium flame till golden brown colour and crisp.
  6. Serve hot with sause or chutney as you wish.
