ABOUT Spicy Cashew Chicken RECIPE

Everyone loves cashew in a different manner like dried cashew,masala kaju etc.So, Cashew nut is a great ingredients for cooking a delicious also palatable dish named as Spicy Cashew Chicken. Taste is really different and awesome. It is well served with Nun, Butter Nun,Tandoori Roti, Paratha etc.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken medium pieces 600 gm
  2. 2 chopped onion
  3. 2 Red chilly
  4. Milk-kaju paste 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger garlic onion paste 3 tablespoon
  6. Kashmiri Red Chily Powder 2 tea spoon
  7. Turmeric powder 3 table spoon
  8. Corriander powder 2 tablespoon
  9. yoghurt 1/2 cup
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sugar 1 table spoon
  12. Clove 1/2 Teaspoon
  13. Darchini 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Elachi 1/2 Teaspoon
  15. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  16. Corriander leaves 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Take all the ingredients together.
  2. Mix 1 cup Cashew nut with 1/2 cup milk and make paste in a blender.
  3. Marinate the chicken pieces with 2 Table spoon ginger garlic onion paste, 2 Table spoon turmeric powder, 1 table spoon salt,1 table spoon corriander powder, 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilly powder,1/2 cup yoghurt.
  4. Keep aside for 20 mins.
  5. Heat oil in a pan,add each 1/2 Tea spoon of clove, elachi,darchini, cumin seeds to crackle.
  6. Add chopped onion and red chilly, Sprinkle salt to taste and add 1 teaspoon sugar.Fry the onions till it turns into brown.
  7. Now add 1 table spoon ginger-garlic onion paste, 1 table spoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilly powder,salt to taste. Mix well to make the masala.
  8. Now add marinated chicken and mix well with the masala for 10 mins.
  9. Then add 1 table spoon yogurt, 1 table spoon corriander powder. Mix well.
  10. Now add 1/2 cup water with the 1/2 cup Cashew-milk paste. Cover the pan with a lid for another 15 mins.
  11. Sprinkle 1/2 cup corriander leaves on it. Finally spicy cashew chicken is ready to serve with Nun,Roti, Paratha.
