Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Peas 1cup
  2. Black cardamom 2
  3. Green cardamom 2
  4. Cinnamon stick 1
  5. Black pepper ½ teaspoon
  6. Cloves ½ teaspoon
  7. Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
  8. Red chilly powder ½ teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder ½ teaspoon
  10. Javitri flower 1
  11. Fengruek seeds ½ teaspoon
  12. Nutmeg powder ¼ teaspoon
  13. Bay leaves 3-4
  14. Green chillies 3-4
  15. Whole wheat flour 1cup
  16. All purpose flour 1cup
  17. Salt taste

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients except salt and red chilly powder and roast it a little and make powder out of it.
  2. Take a wok and add heat ½ teaspoon refined. Now crackle cumin seeds and add all the ingredients, peas, salt and red chilly powder and cover and cook.
  3. Once cooked transfer the ingredients into a mixer and grind it to make a fine paste.
  4. Now add all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt and 2 tablespoon refined oil and make a fine dough.
  5. Take small portion of the dough and roll it into two equal round shape or you make cut round shape with the help of cookie cutter too.
  6. Now take one round shape and add the peas stuffing on it and cover it with another round shape. And now press the corners so well that the stuffing doesn't come out.
  7. Take a wok and heat oil and now fry the kachoris on a low flame.
  8. Your masaledar matar kachori is ready, serve it with your favorite chutney or sauce.
