Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Peas 1cup
  2. Whole wheat flour 1cup
  3. All purpose flour 1cup
  4. Black cardamom 2
  5. Green cardamom 2
  6. Cinnamon 1 stick
  7. Black pepper ½ teaspoon
  8. Cloves ½ teaspoon
  9. Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
  10. Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Cumin powder ½ teaspoon
  12. Javitri flower 1
  13. Fennel seeds ½ teaspoon
  14. Nutmeg powder ¼ teaspoon
  15. Green chillies 3-4
  16. Bay leaves 3-4
  17. Oil for frying
  18. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly roast all the ingredients except for red and green chillies. Grind them in a mixer and make a fine powder.
  2. Now take a woak and add ½ teaspoon refined oil to it and crackle cumin seeds in it. Add peas and all the powdered ingredients, red chilly powder and salt and cover it and cook for 5 minutes until peas soften.
  3. Once the peas are soften now grind it and the powderd ingredients into the mixer or sil. ( I've used sil)
  4. Now take both the flours, salt and 2 tablespoon refined oil and make a dough and keep aside for 10minutes.
  5. Take rolling board and rolling pin and roll two small small puris out of it and fill it with the peas stuffing.
  6. Cover it with another puri.
  7. Now take a fork and gentle press the corners so that the stuffing doesn't come out.
  8. In a woak add oil and fry them gently.
  9. Your MINI SPICY MATAR KACHORI is ready enjoy it with chutney or sauce.
