ABOUT Maggi Spinach Lentils Wraps RECIPE

An interesting twist in the healthy nutritious wraps. Its masala maggi being stuffed in spinach and lentils wraps. One of the smart ways of making kids eat palak, dhals and vegetables at one go along with their all-time favorite maggi! Moreover, it is wholesome and filling too. So best suited for breakfast or packed lunch.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For stuffing
  2. Masala Maggi- 1 pack
  3. Onion- 1, medium sized, cubed
  4. Mixed Vegetables- 1 cup, cubed (carrot, beans, cauliflower, capsicum, potato, green peas and sweet corn)
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Cooking medium for sauteeing
  7. For Spinach and Lentils Wrap
  8. Mixed Lentils/dhals- 2 cups (equal amount of thuvar dhal, urad dhal, split yellow channa dhal, yellow moong dhal, green moong dhal and masoor dhal)
  9. Spinach/Palak- 1 cup, finely chopped
  10. Caraway Seeds/Ajwain- 1 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Cooking medium for toasting

Instructions

  1. Take equal amount of dhals like thuvar dhal, urad dhal, split yellow channa dhal, yellow moong dhal, green moong dhal and masoor dhal in a large container. Wash and soak it for 3 hours.
  2. Wash and finely chop the spinach leaves. Grind the soaked dhals into a fine batter along with spinach, ajwain and salt. In a hot griddle or tava, spread a ladle full of batter into thin roundels. Flip and toast both the sides using a tsp of cooking oil.
  3. For Stuffing
  4. Wash and cube the vegetables mentioned above. Boil carrot, beans, cauliflower and potato.
  5. Gently crumble the maggi noodles into small pieces. Keep it aside.
  6. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Sauté onions till it turn translucent. Add capsicum, green peas and sweet corn and sauté for a minute.Add the boiled vegetables.
  7. Add water as per the instructions given in the maggi pack. Add little amount of salt if required. Let it boil.
  8. Add the masala tastemaker given in the maggi pack. Mix well. Bring it to boil. Add crumbled maggi noodles and cook till done. Let it cool.
  9. Arranging the wraps: Place the spinach lentils wrap on a flat plate. Spoon the masala maggi stuffing at one corner of the wrap lengthwise. Gently but firmly fold the wrap over the stuffing and roll it to the other end. Secure it with a toothpick if required.
  10. Serve Maggi Spinach Lentils Wraps with any sauce or chutney of your choice.
