Use of oat in this dessert has reduced the calories of kulfi and at the same time it is healthy and cool for your tummy. It is a fusion of cake and kulfi and taste is a combination of nutty chocolaty orangy and lot more.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Home made Milkmaid 200 ml
  2. MIlk 2 cup
  3. Fresh cream 1/4 cup
  4. Milk powder 1/2 cup
  5. Honey 5 tablespoon
  6. Oat 3/4 cup
  7. Brown Bread crumb 1/4 cup
  8. Roughly ground nuts (cashew, walnuts, almonds, pista) 1/2 cup
  9. Choccolate 50 gram
  10. Orange syrup from fresh oranges
  11. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  12. Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon
  13. For the base of kufi cake
  14. Brown bread crumb 2 cup
  15. Marie biscuit crumb 1/2 cup
  16. Honey 5 tbsp
  17. Cocoa powder 1 tbsp
  18. Chocolate rasgulla 6

Instructions

  1. Take a pan bring milk to a boil.
  2. Add plain oats and cook for 2 minutes .
  3. Switch off the gas and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add milkmaid, fresh cream, milk powder, bread crumbs, honey, cardamom powder, roughly ground nuts.
  5. Divide this mixture into 3 parts
  6. To one part add chocolate melted in a microwave,mix properly and keep it in the freezer in a container.
  7. To second part add orange syrup and keep it in the freezer in a container.
  8. To third part don't add anything. Put in a separate container and keep it in the freezer
  9. Take one bowl add brown bread crumb, marie biscuit crumbs, honey ,unsweetened cocoa powder , you can add milk if it is very dry. Depends upon the brown bread crumbs quality.
  10. Take one aluminum use and throw rectangle shape container.
  11. Set this mixture as a base of kulfi cake in a aluminium container.
  12. Keep this inside the fridge for 30 minutes or till it sets firmly.
  13. When the kulfi is ready take out all the 3 flavours from fridge
  14. Take out aluminium container from the fridge and arrange half of the kulfi from all the 3 flavours and lightly swirl the kulfi layer with a spoon.
  15. Squeeze out excess sugar syrup from chocolate rasgulla and arrange on this layer.
  16. Add remaining 3 flavours of kulfi on top of these rasgulla in a same way.
  17. Garnish with finely chopped pista. Almonds and keep it inside the freezer to set for another 2 hours.
  18. When kulfi cake is set take out from the freezer cut in desired shapes and serve chilled.
