Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. Coconut powder - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar powder - 3/4 cup
  4. Butter - 1/2 cup
  5. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Milk maid 1 can
  7. Milk as required

Instructions

  1. First take maida, mix baking powder and coconut.
  2. Add butter and mix with finger tips.
  3. Add some milk and make a dough.
  4. Cover with silver foil and let it rest in the fridge for 1/2 an hour.
  5. Take out from the fridge, now divide it in 6 parts. Make a ball.
  6. Roll these balls and make pooris.
  7. We want 3 poories for 2 roses.
  8. Take one poori and put it on a flat surface.
  9. Put another poori on the edge of the first poori and like wise the third poori.
  10. Roll these 3 poories and cut from the middle to get 2 roses.
  11. Place in a baking mould, give milk wash and sprinkle coconut powder.
  12. Bake on 180 degree centigrade in a preheated oven till it gets brown.
  13. Pour milk maid on the baked roses then serve.
