ABOUT Leftover Hariyali Rice RECIPE

This recipe is best use of the leftover rice and sabji and tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1cup leftover Palak paneer sabji
  2. 2cup leftover rice
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. 1tomato chopped
  5. 1/2cup boiled vegetables like green peas, French beans, carrot, capcicum,fulgobhi
  6. 2tbsp oil
  7. 1/2cup coriander leaves
  8. 1/2tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  9. 3cloves
  10. 2big cardamom
  11. 2small cardamom
  12. 2stick cinnamon
  13. 2bay leaf
  14. 1/4tsp haldi powder
  15. 2tbsp biryani masala
  16. 1/4cup curd
  17. 1tsp red chilli powder
  18. Salt to taste
  19. For garnishing-panner, capcicum
  20. For serve curd, papad

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the cumin seeds crackle, add the asafoetida and whole khada masala.
  3. Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
  4. Add the onion and saute for few minutes or till they turn translucent.
  5. Add the tomatoes and saute for few seconds.
  6. Add the the boiled mix vegetables and palak paneer sabji and saute for few minutes.
  7. Add curd and all powdered masala and mix well.
  8. Add the leftover rice and salt,toss well and cook for few minutes.
  9. Cook for 2minutes stirring continuously.
  10. Serve with curd and papad.
  11. Garnishing with the paneer, capcicum and coriander leaves.
