ABOUT Mirchi Vada / Mirchi Pakoda RECIPE

Tempting and delicious crispy stuffed mirchi vada for your kitty party or cocktail party. Stuffed my style of samosa filling in it which are little spicy and tangy . You can serve it as a starter too with diffrent chatni and dip. Enjoy this mirchi vada with your evenig tea which loved mostly in my family.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For stuffing :-
  2. Fine chopped boiled potatoes 1 bowl
  3. Boiled green peas 1/2 cup
  4. Oil 2 tbsp
  5. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  6. Hing 1/4 tsp
  7. Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  8. Dry coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  11. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  12. Chaat masaala 1 tsp
  13. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  14. Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  15. Crushed Green chilli, ginger and garlic 1 tbsp
  16. For batter
  17. Gram flour 1 bowl
  18. Corn flour 3- 4 tbsp
  19. Salt 1/4 tsp
  20. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  21. Hing 2 pinch
  22. Carrom seeds 1/2 tsp
  23. Water as required
  24. Soda 2 pinch
  25. Oil for deep fry
  26. Seedless green chilli 7-8 for stuffing
  27. For serving
  28. Curd
  29. Green chatni
  30. Ketchap
  31. Onions
  32. Red chilli powder for sprinkle 2 pinch

Instructions

  1. FOR STUFFING IN PAN ADD 2 TBS OIL AND 1/2 TSP JEERA FOR TEMPERING THEN ADD 1/4 TSP HING
  2. ADD 1 TBSP CRUSHED GREEN CHILLI, GINGER AND GARLIC MIXTURE.
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP FENNEL SEEDS AND 1/2 TSP DRY CORIANDER SEEDS AND SAUTE.
  4. ADD 1/2 CUP BOILED GREEN PEAS AND MIX IT.
  5. ADD 1 BOWL FINE CHOPPED BOILED POTATOES AND KEEP MIXING.
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP SUGAR AND 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE AND 1 TSP CHAAT MASALA.
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA THEN MIX WELL.
  9. ADD 1 TBSP SESAME SEEDS, 1/2 CUP FINE CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES AMD MIX WELL THEN REMOVE FROM FLAME.
  10. FOR BATTER TAKE 1 BOWL GRAM FLOUR IN A LARGE BOWL
  11. ADD 1/4 TSP SALT ,1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER.
  12. 2 PINCH HING, 1/2 TSP CARROM SEEDS.
  13. MIX WELL FRY MIXTURE.
  14. ADD WATER LITTLE BY LITTLE IN FLOUR AND MAKE A THICK BATTER.
  15. IN END ADD 3 TO 4 TBSP CORN FLOUR AND MIX AGAIN ADD LITTLE WATER IF NEEDED.
  16. NOW BATTER IS READY FOR PAKODA.
  17. NOW TAKE 7 TO 8 WASHED AND SEEDLESS GREEN CHILLI FOR STUFFING.
  18. TAKE ONE BY ONE CHILLI AND FILL ENOUGH STUFFING.
  19. NOW STUFFED GREEN CHILLIES AND MIXTURE FOR PAKODA IS READY.
  20. HEAT OIL FOR DEEP FRY AND ADD 2 PINCH SODA IN BATTER THEN GIVE QUICK MIX.
  21. DIP ONE BY ONE STUFFED CHILLI IN BATTER.
  22. NOW LEAVE CHILLI IN PAN FOR DEEP FRY.
  23. FRY IT TILL IT TURN OUT CRISPY AND GOLDEN IN COLOUR.
  24. AFTER THAT REMOVE FROM PAN AND LET IT LITTLE COOL.
  25. MAKE ALL CHILLI PAKODA SAME WAY.
  26. CUT IT AND SERVE HOT WITH YOUR CHOICE OF CHATNI, KETCHUP AND CURD.
  27. MIRCHI VADA OR MIRCHI PAKODA IS READY TO SERVE.
