ABOUT Italian stuffed mushrooms RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 250 gms mushrooms
  2. 1 tablespoon butter
  3. 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 1 tablespoon thick milk cream
  6. 1 tablespoon oil
  7. 5-6 garlic cloves (chopped)
  8. Salt (to taste)
  9. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  10. 1 teaspoon oil (for brushing mushrooms and greasing baking tray)
  11. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
  12. 1 tablespoon oregano
  13. Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. TAKE MUSHROOMS, WASH THEM AND CLEAN THEM.
  2. TAKE OUT THE STALK FROM EACH MUSHROOM.
  3. HEAT BUTTER IN A PAN. ADD ALL PURPOSE FLOUR AND ROAST.
  4. ADD MILK TO IT AND MIX WELL.
  5. ADD CREAM TO IT AND MIX WELL SO THAT THERE ARE NO LUMPS IN IT. COOK TILL IT GETS THICK.
  6. CHOP THE STALKS OF MUSHROOM.
  7. HEAT OIL IN A PAN. ADD GARLIC AND SAUTE.
  8. ADD CHOPPED STALKS OF MUSHROOM TO IT
  9. ADD SALT AND RED CHILLI POWDER. MIX WELL.
  10. ADD THE PREPARED WHITE MIX TO IT AND MIX WELL. COOK FOR AROUND 3-4 MINUTES. STUFFING IS READY.
  11. BRUSH THE MUSHROOMS WITH OIL.
  12. FILL THE STUFFING IN MUSHROOMS.
  13. GREASE A BAKING PAN. PUT STUFFED MUSHROOMS ON IT.
  14. PUT MOZZARELLA CHEESE OVER EACH MUSHROOM. BAKE @180 °C FOR 10 MINUTES.
  15. SPRINKLE WITH OREGANO AND GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES.
