ABOUT Mini samosas RECIPE

These samosas are best enjoyed at tea time. These samosas are made of maida and filled with potato filling with mild spices. Then deep fried .

  1. APF/maida -2 cups
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Ghee/ clarrified butter -1/4 cup
  4. For filling
  5. Boiled potatoes-4-5
  6. Dry mango powder-1 tsp
  7. Chat masala -1/2 tsp
  8. Peas 1/4 cup
  9. Cumin seeds -1 tsp
  10. Corriander powder - 1 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  12. Green chilli 2
  13. Oil for frying
  14. Salt 1 tsp
  15. Turmeric powder -1 tsp

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS OF APF/MAIDA.TO IT ADD 1/2 TSP SALT .
  2. THEN ADD 1/4 CUP GHEE/CLARRIFIED BUTTER TO IT .MIX WELL.
  3. AS IT HOLDS SHAPE ADD WATER IN BATCHES TO KNEAD TIGHT DOUGH.
  4. LIKE THIS
  5. COVER IT AND KEEP AT REST FOR 20 MINUTES.
  6. TAKE 1 TBSP OIL,ADD 1TSP JEERA /CUMIN AND CORRIANDER SEEDS.CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI.
  7. THEN 1/4 CUP PEAS.COOK COVERED FOR 3-4 MIN. AT LOW FLAME.
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,1TSP SALT OR AS PER TASTE.
  9. MASH 4-5 BOILED POTATOES,GIVE IT A MIX.
  10. ADD 1TSP DRY MANGO POWDER.1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER.
  11. THEN 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA.
  12. MIX WELL AND LET IT COOL.
  13. NOW DIVIDE DOUGH IN EQUAL PARTS.
  14. ROLL IT IN ROUND SHAPE.
  15. ROLL EACH BALL TO ROUND ROTI ,IF NEED APPLY OIL.
  16. CUT IN TWO HALVES AT CENTRE.APPLY WATER ON SIDES.
  17. SHAPE IT IN FORM OF CONE.
  18. NOW FILL WITH 1 SPOON OF FILLING .
  19. APPLY WATER ON SIDES AND CLOSE IT IN THIS WAY.
  20. MAKE ALL LIKE THIS IN SAME WAY.
  21. ONE BATCH READY TO GET FRIED.
  22. HEAT OIL TO MEDIUM HOT,FRY 3-4 SAMOSAS IN BATCHES.
  23. FRY EACH BATCH FOR 8-9 MIN AT LOW TO MEDIUM FLAME TILL THWY TURN GOLDEN BROWN.
  24. READY TO SERVE WITH KETCHUP AND SWEET TAMARIND CHUTNEY.
