  2. Onion chooped2 no.
  3. Garli 4 petals
  4. For modak filling
  5. Cocount 1/2cup
  6. Oil 1 table spoon
  7. Red chilli powxer
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2tea spoon
  9. Garam masla 1/2 table spoon
  10. Salt to tast
  11. For modak covring
  12. Gram flour 1 cup
  13. Salt to tast
  14. Onion 2 no.

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD THE ASSORTED INGREDIENTS, SAUTE
  2. ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES, SAUTE FOR 1 MINUTE
  3. TAKE 1/2 CUP GRATED COCOUNT, ADD MASALAS, SALT TO TASTE, SET ASIDE THE READY STUFFING
  4. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, ADD THE OTHER INGREDIENTS, KNEAD INTO A DOUGH, ADDING SUFFICIENT WATER
  5. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO SMALL PIECES AND FLATTEN THEM INTO ROUNDS
  6. FILL SOME READY STUFFING, GATHER THE SIDES & SHAPE INTO MODAKS
  7. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, FEW CURRY LEAVES & THE GROUND MASALA
  8. ADD THE PUREE OF 2 ONIONS, 2 TOMATOES, 4 GARLIC CLOVES
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHIILI, GARAM MASALA & TURMERIC POWDERS
  10. ADD SALT, THE READY MODAKS, SIMMER FOR 10-15 MINS
  11. ADD A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, TAKE OFF HEAT
