  1. 4 cups wheat flour
  2. 1 cup maize flour
  3. Salt
  4. 2 tsp fresh cream
  5. 2 tsp oil
  6. 1 tsp carom seeds
  7. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. For stuffing
  9. Boiled potatoes 4
  10. Boiled peas 1 cup
  11. Oil 1 tsp
  12. Cumin seeds
  13. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  14. Chilly ginger paste 1 tsp
  15. Tirmeric 1 tsp
  16. Curry leaves few
  17. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  18. For kadi
  19. 1 cup curf
  20. 2 tsp gram flour
  21. 2 cups water
  22. Oil 2 tsp
  23. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  24. Hing 1 tsp
  25. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  26. Curry leaves few
  27. Coriander finely chopped 1 tsp
  28. Green chilli paste 1 tsp
  29. Salt

Instructions

  1. TAKE 4CUPS OF WHEAT FLOUR ,1 CUP OF MAIZE FLOUR.ADD 1TSP CAROM SEEDS,1/4TSP SODA,SALT,1 TSP TURMERIC
  2. ADD 2 TSP OIL,2 TSP FRESH CREAM OR CURD
  3. MIX WELL ..ADD WATER AND KNEAD THE DOUGH
  4. THE DOUGH SHOULD BE SEMI SOFT.. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 20 MIN
  5. LETS START FOR MASALA STUFFING. HEAT 2 TSP OIL,ADD CUMIN AND MUSTARD SEEDS EACH 1 TSP.
  6. ADD 2 TSP CHILLY GINGER PASTE,1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,1TSP CORIANDER POWDER,FEW CURRY LEAVES AND SAUTE
  7. ADD 4BOILED AND MASHED POTATOES,1 CUP BOILED GREEN PEAS AND MIX WELL
  8. ADD SALT AND 2 TSP LEMON JUICE..MIX WELL ..COOK FOR FEW MIN ..OFF THE GAS..LET IT COOL
  9. LET THE MIXTURE COOL FOR SOME TIME
  10. TAKE A SMALL DOUGH,ROLL SMALL PURI
  11. APPLY LITTLE WATER AT THE CORNER SO THAT IT STICKS PROPERLY.PLACE A BALL OF POTATO PEAS MIXTURE
  12. JOIN ALL CORNERS TO CENTER FORMING POTLI..PRESS WELL AND GIVE A PROPER SHAPE
  13. MAKE ALL IN THE SAME WAY ..PUT IT ON THE PERFORATED PLATE FOR STEAMING,STEAM FOR 15 MIN
  14. AFTER STEAMING..COOL AND THEN ROAST IN BATI MAKER ../ TANDOOR
  15. FLIP IT IN INTERVALS SO THAT THEY ARE ROASTED EVENLY ON ALL SIDES
  16. ONCE DONE..REMOVE FROM BATI MAKER AND KEEP ASIDE
  17. FOR TADKA OF KADI..HEAT 2 TSP OIL,ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,CUMIN SEEDS,GREEN CHILLI PASTE,HING,CURRY LEAVES
  18. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC AND 1 CUP CURD BLENDED WITH 2 TSP GRAM FLOUR,2 CUPS WATER, FEW CORIANDER LEAVES
  19. ADD SALT AND BOIL FOR FEW MIN
