ABOUT Pasande (Beef fillets) RECIPE

Beef fillets marinated in spices and yogurt gives an amazing taste to it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg beef fillets
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 tbsp coriander powder, roasted
  4. 1/2 tsp haldi
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1 and 1/2 garam masala powder
  7. 1 tbsp gram flour, roasted
  8. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  9. 1/2 cup yoghurt
  10. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  11. 1/2 cup oil
  12. 1 onion medium sliced
  13. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  14. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  15. 1 black cardamom
  16. 3-4 green cardamoms
  17. 4-5 black peppers
  18. 1 tbsp green coriander, chopped
  19. 1/2 tbsp mint leaves, chopped
  20. 2 green chillies

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, take the beef fillet, add all the powdered spices, gram flour, yoghurt, lemon juice and salt. Mix them well. Keep it for atleast 3-4 hours for marination.
  2. Heat oil in a wok, add the sliced onions and fry till it is golden brown. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, black cardamom, green cardamoms, black pepper.
  3. Add the marinated fillets, 1/2 cup of water and let it cook till it is very much tender.
  4. Transfer it in a platter and sprinkle the chopped coriander, chopped green chillies and chopped mint on top to serve.
