ABOUT HURRY-BURRY CHICKEN RECIPE

HURRY-BURRY CHICKEN CURRY or just CHICKEN CURRY MADE IN A HURRY Just as the name implies, this delicious simple Chicken Curry can be made in a hurry. However, don’t be too much in haste to get it done as your ‘hurry-burry’ can spoil the curry

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 kg chicken jointed and cut into medium size pieces
  2. 2 Tomatoes chopped finely
  3. 2 large onions chopped
  4. ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  5. 2 teaspoons mild chillie powder or as per choice (use Kashmiri Chillie powder if you want a good red colour)
  6. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  7. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  8. 3 cloves
  9. 2 small pieces of cinnamon
  10. 2 cardamoms
  11. 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
  12. 3 tablespoons oil
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the onions, Fry till golden brown.
  2. Add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes .Now add the chicken, chopped tomatoes, salt, chillie powder turmeric powder, coriander powder.
  3. Cook until the chicken is tender and cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
