As we all know the aloe vera has got lots of medicinal properties.First time i tried this kuzhambu,came out super good !!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Aleo Vera -1 leaf
  2. Onion -1 small
  3. Tomato -1 small
  4. Garlic Pods -8
  5. Sambar Powder -4 tsp
  6. Salt -To taste
  7. Tamarind Paste - 2 tbsp
  8. To Temper :
  9. Gingelly Oil - 1/4 cup
  10. Mustard Seeds -1/2 tsp
  11. Fenugreek Seeds -/4 tsp
  12. Cumin Seeds -1/4 tsp
  13. Fennel Seeds -1/4 tsp
  14. Curry Leaves -1 sprig
  15. Hing -1/8 tsp

Instructions

  1. First take the leaf ,peel and scoop out the gel.Wash and chopped into small pieces
  2. Take the tamarind paste in a bowl .Dilute with 2 cups water,salt and sambar powder.Mix it well
  3. *Finely chop the onion and tomato.Keep it aside
  4. Heat Oil in a vessel temper the ingredients given under "To Temper" ,then add the garlic pods and onion.Saute it well.Then add the tomato.Saute it well until it turns mushy.
  5. Now add chopped aleo vera for 2 mins.Now pour the tamarind water.Boil it well until the raw smell goes away or oil floats on top.
  6. Once the kuzhambu boiled well the aleo vera also dissolved in it.
